Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Fired — The Cosmic Background Check ("Fired", "the app"), operated by SwiftBuy Solutions L.L.C-FZ, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By using the app, you agree to the terms below.

1. The service

Fired generates symbolic work-compatibility reflections using a Gene Keys profile framework. Fired is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Gene Keys Publishing. You add one person (the "subject"), enter their birth details, and optionally cross-check them against your own profile. Each purchased reading is delivered as narrated audio of approximately 40–50 minutes plus the complete text.

2. Entertainment only — no professional advice

Every reading is AI-generated interpretation: a symbolic, conditional work-pattern hypothesis drawn from the birth data you enter. It is offered for reflection and conversation only.

Readings are not factual claims about any real person and not legal, HR, medical, financial, psychological, or any other professional advice. Employment and business decisions are yours alone and must not be based on a reading.

3. Not a consumer report — prohibited uses

Fired is not a consumer reporting agency and its readings are not "consumer reports" within the meaning of the U.S. Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or any similar law in any jurisdiction. You must not use the app or any reading, in whole or in part:

as any basis for hiring, firing, employment, promotion, compensation, reassignment, retention, placement, authority, access to work, or another employment decision;
as any basis for eligibility in credit, insurance, housing, education, a government license or benefit, or another high-impact eligibility decision;
as a substitute for a lawful background check, reference check, or screening process; or
for any other purpose that would require compliance with the FCRA or equivalent consumer-reporting or background-screening laws.

Using a reading for any of these purposes is a material breach of these terms.

4. Eligibility (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old to use Fired. By using the app you represent that you meet this requirement.

5. Subjects' information

When you enter another person's profile name or alias, birth details, or optional stated gender, you represent that you are lawfully permitted to provide that information for the reading service. Subjects' data is processed only to provide the readings you request, including storing and retrieving subjects associated with your account, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Before generation, the app asks for your explicit permission to share the submitted information with third-party AI and text-to-speech providers. You may decline or later withdraw that permission in Settings; without it, Fired will not generate a new dossier.

6. Purchases and refunds

Each reading is a one-time consumable purchase processed exclusively through the Apple App Store. The U.S. reference price is US$19.99; Apple displays the exact localized App Store price before you confirm the purchase, and it may vary by storefront, currency, and tax. Fired does not sell subscriptions. Apple's billing terms apply to all purchases, and refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policies.

If a purchased reading is delayed or not delivered, contact support@work-compatibility-astro.help and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.

Settings > Account > Sync Pending Purchase or Restore Purchases can refresh an unfinished store transaction. If backend generation failed after accepting a purchase, Run Check can reuse the corresponding server-side refundable credit without starting another charge. A completed consumable and its delivered dossier are not reissued by Restore Purchases.

A purchase that requires Apple, payment, or family approval remains pending until that process completes. Fired does not deliver the dossier or automatically open a second purchase while approval is pending. If the store or approver confirms a decline, you may clear that pending request in Settings before asking again.

7. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining access to the device and credentials used with the app. You may delete your account at any time from in-app Settings or via the account deletion page.

8. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access restricted systems.
Do not enter information you do not have the right to use.
Do not present readings to others as factual background checks or investigative reports.
Do not use the service in a way that violates applicable law, including employment-discrimination and consumer-reporting laws.

9. Intellectual property

Third-party names, systems, terminology, and materials remain the property of their respective owners. Fired does not claim ownership of them, and reference to a third-party system does not state or imply affiliation, endorsement, or a grant of rights.

To the extent permitted by law, rights in Fired's independently created software, interface, brand assets, and original production materials remain with SwiftBuy Solutions L.L.C-FZ. This statement is limited to those independently created elements and makes no claim about rights in any third-party framework or terminology.

You retain ownership of the personal information and birth details you provide. By using the app you grant us a limited license to process that information solely to deliver the reading service to you.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Generated readings are interpretive and may contain errors, omissions, or outputs that are unexpected.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwiftBuy Solutions L.L.C-FZ and our service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app or any generated content — including any decision you make, or decline to make, about another person after reading or hearing a reading.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) twenty US dollars.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service for conduct that violates these terms (including the prohibited uses in section 3), applicable law, or the integrity of the service. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users inside the app.

14. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The service is operated by SwiftBuy Solutions L.L.C-FZ, Dubai, UAE.

Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
